St. George
St. George Utah is one of the most picturesque areas to live in the country. With tall red rock on towering peaks and warmer temperature it’s no wonder so many are calling St. George home. If you enjoy national parks, you’ll love having Zions National Park and Bryce Canyon as your neighbors! And if being outdoors is what you’re looking for that’s just the beginning! There are many slot canyons to repel, hiking in Snow Canyon, riding ATV’s and even lakes to cool off in. At Sand Hollow you can fish, water ski, ride ATV’s and even ride the sand dunes all at the same place. They even have homes located right at Sand Hollow! There are hundreds of ATV trails throughout the area. If you don’t have an ATV or UTV no worries, there are many rental and guided tours available. You can ride to the slot canyons, across flat top mountains and even go see dinosaur tracks. Speaking of dinosaurs, my kids love Thunder Junction for it’s prehistoric feel, splash pads, waterfalls and volcano that erupts. It’s great for kids of all ages to play and cool off. In addition, your kids will love the hands on experience making music, being in theatre and the science at the St George Children’s museum. While your kids are playing, you can play a round or two of golf. The contrast between the red rocks and the green fairway is something you have to experience if you consider yourself a golfer. Wrap up your day with a Broadway musical in the desert at Tuacahn. The activities are vast here in Southern Utah.
